Philip D. Jaffé is Professor Emeritus at the University of Geneva. He co founded its Interfaculty Centre for Children’s Rights and directed it from 2008 to 2019. In 2018, he was elected to the United Nations Committee on the Rights of the Child, and he is serving his second term until 2027. A clinical and forensic psychologist trained in Switzerland and the United States, he continues to practice as a psychotherapist and to act as an expert for the courts. His professional vision has always been to serve civil society as a scientist practitioner.
