Description

In this course we have accumulated our expertise and experience of creatin MOOCs. It reflects the way we work at the Center for Digital Education at EPFL.

In our structure we tried to follow the structure of a typical MOOC on the EDX platform, with an overal structure (1. Course design) and the components videos (2. Videos), Problem (3. Testing and assessments),HTML (4. Textfiles and additional materials), Discussion (5. Discussion Forum), Advanced (6. Setting up and running a course) and 7. Conclusion.

This is a 'living' course in the sense that we keep adding and adapting sections and units while we work and learn. The COVID pandemic has provided us with new challenges for online teaching and the lessons learned from this experience will also be collected in this MOOC.

We hope that our MOOC will inspire and support you in your own work.
